US Chapter Founder - Kylesh Sharma
What started out as a simple class assignment turned into a personal life goal. The idea of founding the Nepal House Society - US Chapter was initiated by 14-year old Kylesh Sharma who was deeply moved by the humanitarian efforts to empower the forgotten sector of the Nepal region - the children. The US Chapter's primary focus is funding and raising the awareness of Nepal House Girls School.

History of the Overall Organization
Nepal House Society is a not for profit society whose aims are to provide therapeutic support to the children of Nepal. The Society was established in 2007 in BC, Canada, and in that same year another branch was established in Pokhara, Nepal, (Kaski District). The founders set out with the goal in mind to empower street and orphaned kids through therapy and competency in life skills. Over the past many years, the Nepal House Society has created outreach to train orphanage social workers and staff on improved methods of working with children in their facilities. In partnership with some of these orphanages, an active Therapy Center was created as a support program for day visits where orphaned children are able to work one on one with trained staff to deal with abandonment, violence, abuse and other devastating issues toward a path of healing.
